order policy
By placing an order with Flow Performance Automotive Ltd you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
Any reference to we/us/company/seller means Flow Performance Automotive Ltd.
Our business is the sale and supply of specialist automotive tuning & styling parts.
Any reference to you/buyer/purchaser means the person detailed on the sales invoice.
We supply mainly non-standard parts. This means the parts we supply may not always be a straight forward fit. Some parts may need vehicle modifications to achieve an acceptable fit. We therefore recommend that parts we supply should be fitted by a professional mechanic or bodywork specialist.
Some parts supplied are for “off road use” only. Please take note of and abide by your local laws.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Transactions are governed by British law and any dispute in transactions will be settled by British law.
Orders placed via our online shop are mere offers to purchase and shall not be accepted or binding upon us until confirmed or acknowledged in writing by us by means of invoice or statement. The automatically produced order confirmation email is purely an acknowledgement that you have submitted your order and allows you to check that you have entered all information correctly.
We retain the right to cancel any order at any time. If payment has been made, we will provide a full refund immediately.
right to return
You have the right to return a product or to cancel an order within the first 14 days following delivery (excluding special order items – see below). We also reserve the right to refund your purchase minus any carriage charges that we have incurred in delivering.
For returns outside of the 14 day cancellation period please see below “Return of Goods Outside of the 14 Days Cancellation Period”
Parts that have been fitted, modified or are not in a resalable condition will not be accepted back for credit or exchange.
special order items
Special order items are ordered especially from manufacturers and for this reason are non-returnable. We will not be able to accept special order goods back for credit or exchange. This includes items that are built to order such as custom paint colour items. custom hose sets, etc. We reserve the right to add products to this list, although they may not appear here immediately.
returning your item
If you wish to return any item then please follow these steps:
- Contact us by email at [email protected] with your reason for return, stating your order number.
- Send the goods to the following address: 4 Turbary Road, Poole, Dorset, BH12 4HB. Please note that we can only refund if goods are returned in the original packaging in “as new” condition.
- Attach a copy of the delivery note or invoice as proof of purchase.
correct parts supplied
If we have correctly supplied the product as ordered then we will reimburse the product costs and the return carriage costs. These costs will be refunded as credit note in the form of a discount code. We require proof of carriage costs to be sent to [email protected] along with your original order number.
incomplete or damaged goods
If the goods are delivered incomplete or have been damaged in transit, we reserve the right to replace the product. If you require a refund, we will reimburse the product costs but not carriage costs.
Please note: You must inform us of damaged deliveries within 72 hours of delivery. We are unable to accept responsibility for damage to goods beyond these periods.
warranty/faulty items
Products supplied by Flow Performance are subject to the warranty set by the manufacturer. If you have a problem within 90 days of purchase we will replace the part. This may require the part to be returned to the original manufacturer. After 90 days the part may either be repaired or replaced at our discretion.
Before exchanging goods we reserve the right to test items thought to be at fault. Payment will be required for any replacement parts sent out before return of ‘faulty’ goods. If items are returned and found not to be at fault they will be returned to the customer. The return shipping will be charged to the customer, and the item will not be shipped back out until the charge is paid.
The guarantee on parts is limited to the product itself. We do not cover any labour costs incurred in removing and replacing parts that are faulty or thought to be faulty.
Our guarantee does not cover any form of impact damage.
return of goods outside of the 14 days cancellation period
For all goods returned outside of this period, subject to the parts being returned in their original packaging in a resalable condition, we will issue a credit note to the value of the goods less a 15% re-stocking fee. You will be responsible for the return carriage charges.
