Description
BC Racing BR series coilovers use a large 46mm diameter piston in a 53mm diameter damper body to maximise oil capacity.
On suspension dampers, as the unit operates the oil contained within it heats up. The viscosity of oil changes as its temperature varies which can lead to changes in the damping characteristics of the unit. BC Racing only use a very high quality oil with their coilovers. This combined with the large 53mm diameter damper body, which allows for a greater volume of oil within the damper, reduces the peak temperature and significantly improves damper performance.
This Kit consists of:
- BR series body type
- 6kg/mm front springs
- 3kg/mm rear springs
The above setup is recommended by BC Racing as the best balance of performance and comfort. It is very capable for fast road and track work but also retains a high degree ride civility for normal road use.
