EBC Yellowstuff Rear Brake Pads for Volkswagen Golf (Mk6) All Models Incl. GTI and Golf R 2009-2012

EBC Yellowstuff is an aramid fibre-based brake compound with high brake effect form cold and is possibly one of the first ever compounds that can be used for Street and track driving.   These pads are ECE Brake safety tested which means they must work perfectly from cold at least as good or better than stock pads.

There are 3 types of rear pad for Mk6 Golfs on most models (except the Golf R) – There are 2 types of TRW rear caliper (one with brake pad wear sensor wiring, one without), and a Bosch caliper option.  These calipers all use different size brake pads. Please identify the correct caliper on your vehicle before ordering to ensure the correct pad is ordered.  The Golf R has TRW Calipers with non-brake wear sensors

**NOTE**  EBC Yellowstuff pads were upgraded during 2021 to remove copper from the mix to comply with environmental legislations.  The new formulation lasts longer, but it is no longer being suggested as an out-of-the-box track material due to the longer bedding in process required. On the street, bedding happens naturally in the first 100-200 miles of urban use.
